3 Trends From KCFW

I don't know about you but Kansas City Fashion Week was by far the busiest week of 2015 to date. But, I'm finally back on my game and here to share my 3 favorite trends* from the S/S 16 KCFW!

*I am in no way a trend spotter. So, I use that word loosely*

Open Backs

My back is one of my favorite assets to show off. No matter how I'm feeling with the rest of my body my back always seems to pull through and look as toned as ever. So,  I loved seeing so many open back dresses and even a few low back shirts and dresses on the runway. This is one I will be picking up for the weekends or throwing a blazer over to make work appropriate.

Leather Details

This first dress falls into the first and second category. Leather details are a great way to spice things up a little bit. Whether it be a little detail on the lining of a dress, or leather leggings to take an outfit up a notch.

Designer: Buf Reynolds

I could not find the name of this designer. Would love to credit.

Light and Flowy

Yes, please! Dresses, shirts, skirts. I will take this one in every available option. And give me an open back like that second dress and I am your girl.

I am excited to see how these trends* pan out this spring and summer. But, for now it's back to blanket scarves, boots, and trying to stay warm!
