I-da-ho?! NOOOO You-da-ho!
We're sorry. We really are. We can't help that we have the worst jokes in all the land. We just embrace it and move on with the day. Deal?
Today, we present to you the Idaho cocktail from the three lovely ladies from
The Boise Blue
Hi, we are the ladies behind the blog
in Boise, Idaho and we are really excited to share this fun summery cocktail with you! When we first started crafting this drink, the most important thing to us was that is was inspired by Idaho elements.
Our state fruit is the Huckleberry, which was the foundation in which we based the entire cocktail around. 44 North Vodka is an Idaho brand made from potatoes, and we used the Mountain Huckleberry vodka to create this amazing drink.
Also, we are quite known for our blue turf (Go Broncos!) which is where the name comes from. Sage is prevalent in the foothills surrounding Boise and add an unexpected herbal flavor. And we used lemonade because, well, we like lemonade!
The Boise Blue Cocktail Recipe
1/4 cup bluberries
3-4 small sage leaves3-4 oz lemonade (we used Hubert's because it's natural and delicious but you could use any natural lemonade!)
