A few months ago I was sent a cocktail book by Jules Aron, AKA The Healthy Bartender, called Zen and Tonic. Most days I browse the cocktail and every time I walk away with inspiration. It's filled with mindfully crafted cocktails that include superfoods for a well-balanced drinking life. It's absolutely the best cocktail book I own. So today I'm sharing a recipe from the book to tease you into buying the book. I promise this post isn't sponsored. I just like the book that much and would share all of the recipes with you if I could... but that would be incredibly rude and we should support the bad ass babes of the world, especially when they are mixing up delicious cocktails for us to enjoy and feel good about.
1 cup apple cider
1/2 ounce honey syrup
1/3 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
cinnamon sugar for rim
Mix all ingredients in your shaker. Rim your glass with cinnamon sugar. In a glass with ice, strain your mixture. Pour a second one for a friend and enjoy!
