I hinted on Instagram that I was playing around with more Spritz recipes for the blog. What I love about a great Spritz recipe is that it's light and refreshing. It's not meant to have too much alcohol in it so it's an easy sipping cocktail. I played around with a few new ingredients and finally came to a recipe that I was pleased with.... Enough to actually drink both of these glasses. Spoiler alert: often times I'm creating blog posts in my apartment alone and will only have one of the cocktails. I'm also a big sucker for champagne so that might have had something to do with it. Let's get to the recipe already!
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
2 1/2 ounces cocchi americano
top with brut champagne
In a collins glass, muddle the blackberries. Add ice, lemon juice, and cocchi americano. Top with champagne and add a blackberry garnish.
