It's cider season! But it's also an unseasonably warm fall, at least in Kansas City. Is anyone else experiencing this crazy warm weather? So I did what any sane person would do in these circumstances and I whipped up a frozen Apple Cider Margarita. Yes, you can make in on the rocks if you so wish! Recipe is below and I promise it is one heck of a cocktail. Don't judge me for the use of fireball in it. It adds a tasty kick to the back end of your taste buds.
Ingredients (makes about 4)
2.5 cups cider
1/2 cup of tequila
1/4 cup of fireball
caramel, apple slices, and cinnamon for garnish
Add ice, cider, tequila and fireball to a blender. Blend well and pour into a glass that has been drizzled with caramel. Add an apple slice and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon onto the top.
