Pomegranate Mojito

A few weeks ago I posted a cranberry mojito and it was pretty obvious that you all enjoyed the refreshing fall/winter twist on my favorite cocktail. So today I've got a pomegranate mojito recipe for you! Now you'll be the most refreshing hostess out there. Or you will at least be able to survive your family Thanksgiving in delicious style. As always, please drink responsibly as I love you all and won't have anyone to mix up cocktails for otherwise.

Ingredients for Cocktail

1.5 oz white rum
4-6 mint leaves
1 oz fresh lime juice
2-4 oz pomegranate syrup
Soda Water

How to make the Pomegranate Syrup

In a saucepan mix 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar. Remove seeds from 1 pomegranate and put into your pot. Bring to a boil, stirring well and then pour into a clean container. Let cool and then keep in your fridge for about a week.

Method for the cocktail

Add mint, lime juice, and rum to a collins glass and muddle well. Add ice and soda water. Pour in pomegranate syrup and stir well.

Cheers boozy fam!
